​2024’s Young Romantics Poetry and Essay Prizes will open on 2nd September 2024. This year’s Prizes mark the 200th anniversary of Lord Byron’s death in Greece.

There are two competitions. Young Romantic Poets are asked to write a new work inspired by this year’s theme (which will be revealed in September). Essayists will be asked to respond to questions set by our Prize Judges.

All the details of the Prize theme and essay questions will be revealed on 2nd September.
