The Keats-Shelley House Will Re-Open on Tuesday 26 May 2020

The Keats-Shelley House will be reopening its doors to visitors from 10 am on Tuesday 26 May. Our team has been working hard to get the museum ready and ensure that it accords with national and regional government guidelines to safeguard staff and visitors from Covid-19. We’ve also completed essential maintenance and restoration work, and sanitised the whole building - including William Wetmore Story’s bust of Percy Bysshe Shelley.

On re-opening and until further notice the Keats-Shelley House may accommodate a maximum number of ten visitors at a time. This restriction has been put in place in order to comply with national and regional guidelines on safeguarding staff and visitors against Covid-19.

We therefore invite visitors to book and purchase entrance tickets in advance: BUY TICKETS FOR THE MUSEUM. Visitor should book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment, but we can still admit guests without bookings on a standby basis.

We also kindly request visitors to bring protective face masks and gloves with them to the House, and we advise that entrance may be refused if visitors have a high temperature or experience other symptoms of Covid-19.

We look forward to seeing you soon at the Keats-Shelley House.
